UN RELATED THEME is exploring the feeling of distance: fusing references to Slavic mythical creatures, traditional attire, and performance and installation art. The name itself, UN RELATED THEME, references how one of us saw her grandmother: distant, like a figure from a dark, solemn fairy tale: a feeling mirrored in her collaboration with her friend, who shares the same fascination with the elusive, the mythical, and the slightly unreal.

Before taking physical form, this vision unfolded through 3D visualisation - a deliberate choice that allowed to build, experiment, and refine without excessive waste or sampling.
The first physical collection, Walking in the Invisible City, draws inspiration from Rimsky-Korsakov's operas and Ivan Bilibin's haunting illustrations evoking Slavic mythical creatures, reimagined traditional attire, and the myth of a hidden city beneath a lake, untouched by time or violence. This collection dreams of a world: nonchalant, distant, and quietly magical.

The collection includes a high-end range of pieces with a spin in pattern and/or crafted using extraordinary techniques such as laser-cut feathers, exclusively created hand-drawn fairy tale prints, embroideries, and jacquard knitting techniques that capture the play of light and shadow.
